How do people on lower budgets participate in projects like these? The first step is always the hardest. But if a small piece of land like the Seed can generate activity that pays to up-keep itself, and those living there can benefit from it too, that is the beginning of a zero-point economy where money moves and isn’t stored in a system of usury that relies on debt. The Laguna front land will generate an income stream to help pay towards the cost of amenities & maintenance on the Seed. Furthermore, using educational workshops we will create small earth homes on the land in order to create a secondary passive income for those who need it. The workshops will teach people how to make their own materials that come from the earth and then how to build with it. Their labour in exchange for knowledge makes the cost of these dwellings negligible. Just one example of how collaboration and knowledge sharing creates wealth for everyone involved.
Using art to create a beautiful living environment that raises the frequency and quality of life for everyone. But it has a very practical benefit too in that serious skills can be learned in the process which allow participants to translate these into real-world jobs in construction, architecture and interior design. Throughout the construction process we will be introducing bas-relief and other artistic elements into the fabric of the building to create unique designs. We will also be building decorative brick privacy walls that will also create shade and cooling for the homes. Owners will describe their vision and intent to help the artists to create unique designs for their homes. Each home will have an earthing antenna and each home will have a complex system of collection, re-structuring, water filtration and waste management built in. We will have a lot of optional extras that can be added to the homes in terms of furniture, light fittings, textiles, carved doorways, ceramics, water features & fine art. These will be provided by local artists and craftspeople from Mexico.
There will be many artistic and sculptural interventions, way markers and moments of beauty throughout the site. The biggest and perhaps most striking will be a large scale sculptural gateway. into the development. It will be built & designed together with the local community. The theme will be based on the ‘blueprint’ of the laguna using the work of Dr Alex Ling.. The exact design/materials will be determined in a series of community workshops: and sampling of the water with Dr Ling to determine the blueprint of the laguna and made in glass.. We will have a Teaching Space on the land for learning about new building materials and ways of creating structure using high frequency Natural materials.. These dwellings could be used by visitors who would contribute a small amount to the project as part of a secondary income stream. going toward the upkeep of the project.the telling of stories, the singing of songs from old and young alike.
There is an alternate reality where ownership of land is incomprehensible and instead becomes guardianship. Creating legacy beyond ourselves where energy, the built envronment and our food is clean so our children can grow free and strong and the land continues to flourish with our presence instead of being harmed. Health becomes a matter of autonomy with critical thinking aided by the best and based on an individual’s physical state. Air-conditioning can be a matter of water running down a scultpural wall aimed at the prevailing winds to provide a free 10 degree drop in temperature with water circulating on a solar powered pump or a heat expansion system that moves water as the temperature rises. People can grow their own food right beside their homes. Restructuring of water based on Viktor Schauberger’s work and using a device that can be installed on a shower head (in this instance designed by Dr Ling). And more.
For construction materials we will be using the earth from the area mixed with sascab, clay, natural pigments & aggregates, to build our homes with palapa style Mayan architecture for the amenities. We are making our own design adobe bricks. We have already had the bricks compression tested to meet the building regulations.. Each brick has no more than 5 to 8% cement in it. So it’s clean. Whatever we make, we will provide an amount available for free to our neighbors for free building material. The principles of design follow sacred geometric forms, low impact – bio resonant and non invasive systems with (proprietary energy on ALPHA, not yet ready for the SEED), We will be incorporating a combination of indigenous & modern technology for air cooling, water collection, filtration, restructuring & waste management for each home.
We will be planting a food forest, a medicinal plant forest, a melipona bee sanctuary, as well as permaculture area to provide food to support the residents. This could be be shared with neighbours. Food for labour exchange. We will create some natural pools instead of conventional chlorinated ´pools. Plants will be the filtration system for the naturalistic rock pools that the community can enjoy.
We will be establishing a research facility on the laguna front for the NES Water academy along with Dr Alex Ling – Global Campaign for Water Guardianship and sharing his research on the healing frequencies derived from the unique blue print of the Bacalar laguna and waters from all around the world
Emphasising art, beauty & consciousness, is a huge part of all NewEarth projects. The practical result is that in the process of so doing, we can share these skills with those who wish to learn, and they in turn help us to achieve different types of high-level, artistic finishes, making each home unique, and affordably. In some cases intricate bas-relief designs. This can all be accomplished through workshops aimed at people interested in learning how to manage materials whether it be for construction or for art & decoration.
Materials will be resourced from the land in many of these projects be they: superficial plastering with bas-relief or the creation of natural water pools or even small earth dwellings. Materials are usual about one 3rd of any project budget, so this saving contributes to the affordability of the elements produced. Often times the main cost in any project is manual labour. In our plan labour is mainly given freely in exchange for learning valuable skills. Highly skilled professionals/educators & technicians are paid for their input, but only one or two are needed in any series of workshops to make this whole process work. It is the free labour which underpins the viability of creating elements which traditionally would cost a lot to implement in a ‘so-called’ real estate development.
It is exactly because of this artistic collaboration that the fundamental framework changes from capitalism into guardianship, the process of which fosters a connected community which is protecting vested interest and the land they share.
We have allocated 3000sq meters for the growing of food in vertical greenhouses which generates extraodinary results using bio-frequency. Our local neighbours will benefit from this and we will learn their methods of planting on moonlit nights and the ways of the Mayans, knowledge exchange and sharing is another foundational pillar of the NewEarth mentality and thinking. And of course we will learn about the medicinal plants in the area and understand how to use them before too long. Schooling will be for adults and children alike.
NES is working to create partnerships local farmers/ beekeepers/cattle ranches to regenerate the soil with remediation technologies, to sustain the community and surrounding areas. The food production will be organic produce. Agricultural sustainability and truly nutritional produce depends on this sharing of old and new technologies. We are working with SkyGreen from South Africa on vertical green-housing technologies which has an incredible ratio of relatively small growing area to create abundant production. This state of the art technology will marry with local, ancient knowledge and heirloom seed cultivation

The Communal buildings will be used alternately for: mind/body/soul work, learning and un-learning space for locals & neighbours alike. There will be art/music/dance workshops, jungle orientation and plant courses and for residents, most importantly: Spanish language classes, There will be a weekly organic food market & artesanal craft market. And of course this is a space to hold seasonal fiestas & music events as well.

The NewEarth Seed development is the first step of the NewEarth Sanctuary project in Bacalar, Mexíco. It is a small residential community of approximately 21 homes (possibly more depending on different types of co-ownership which we can talk to you about on an individual basis), agriculture, learning space, workshop/events space, mind/body/wellness, a reception/HQ/showroom, and tree level viewing point for the gardens and the natural water pools beside a medicinal plant forest with rare orchids housing the
Melipona Bee Sanctuary. On the laguna front there will also be a retreat centre with 20 cabanas and
a laguna front restaurant with a boating operation and water activities.
Why not let your imagination go wild, build an earth home on your land to provide a unique experience for visitors whilst providing a passive income for you? The land will pay for itself over time because of the sheer beauty and tranquility that people all over the world are looking for. We will be holding a series of workshops to teach people how to build earth-homes using all sorts of different natural and easily sourced materials. Things like: adobe bricks which we will make ourselves, bamboo and palapa roofs, stone faced walls and paving for pathways, plastered mud and Mexican chukum with added pigments to create very decorative and practical water proof surfaces, wattle and daub techniques, and a whole lot more. our Newsletter where we will be giving more information shortly.
